All logs that we consume to manufacture our products will be sourced from forest lands that are under responsible forest stewardship and committed to sustainable development. The Pallan Group of companies are certified for both PEFC chain of custody and FSC Joint Chain of Custody and Controlled Wood certification.
It is vitally important to us that the forest land that we secure our logs from be managed in a responsible manner where the wildlife, water sources and soil conditions are protected so a new forest with all its diverse components can regenerate itself and be available for future generations.

PALLAN TIMBER PRODUCTS
Pallan TImber Products, a family owned company in its third generation, was founded by Tom Pallan and his father in 1959, the same year Tom received his Masters Degree in Forestry from Oregon State College. Shortly afterwards, they purchased a forestry licence on British Columbia's Vancouver Island in the Campbell River area and the compnay commenced a modest logging operation.
Over the pat 48 years, the Pallan family has expanded company operations into timber aquisitions, logging, sawmilling, remanufacturing and world-wide timber marketing.
The main office is located in Campbell River on Vancouver Island - the heart of British Columbia's prime and most productive forest areas. A second office is located in Vancouver, closer to the mills and shipping.

Howe Sound Forest Products specializes in lumber sales of old growth Douglas Fir, Hemlock, Western Red Cedar and Yellow Cedar.
PALLAN HOLDINGS
Pallan Holdings is the Real Estate division of the group, focusing on the emerging Campbell River area. Development projects include a 100 acre residential subdivision " Forest Grove Properties", several commercial projects including flagship buildings for national tenants and other industrial land holdings.
